We are going to revisit writing make-believe narratives. Previously you wrote short stories from what you imagined on your own. Now you are going to use Storybird to create imagined narratives using art work. Look for a picture that inspires you and let your imagination take you to a new story. You make work collaboratively, with a partner, or on your own.
Be sure to use the rubric to guide you as you work through the assignment.
Prewrite
Once you have chosen your pictures, complete the following to plan for your story, before you begin writing.
Charcters:Jariya,Rayonna,Anna
Setting:At a hollaween party
Problem/Main Event:They ran out of hollaween cupcakes
How character reacts to the problem/main event:Jariya is so up set,Rayonna is ok about it, and Anna is mad
Beginning:Jariya is haveing a hollaween party. She is haveing all her friends over. Her and her mom went to the store to buy cupcakes,and pops.The sellsmen said the cupcakes will be ready in 2 hours.
Middle: Then Jariya's mom called the store because the party was about to start. She asked was the cupcakes ready and they forgot to make them. So every one started to show up at the house. Jariya told her friends Rayonna,and Anna what happen to the cupcakes. Rayonna was ok with it but Anna was not. So Rayonna tried to cheer up Anna.
End: Then Anna's song came on then she started haveing fun. Her song was "Whip your hair". Then Jariya's mom came back wiht the cupcakes.
